Jack Chow
There’s nothing more I love that to lean back and relax on my couch to find my cat bounding across the house to sit with me. As he jumps on to my lap with no hesitation, his enormous size startles me. his soft whit fur brushes up against me as I stare almost bewildered at the designs on his back the tan stripes dancing together as they slowly darken into a still black at his tail and ears....

Walking slowly
I cant even remember the last time I walked slowly. anytime im walking im just trying to get there, anticipation the end of the walk. I never feel like just taking a walk anymore, it feels like there’s nowhere left to go anyway. to walk slowly down the street, through the park, or where ever it may be must be wonderful. to walk slowly gathering information about your surroundings, looking at...

Looking at the stars
living in the city makes looking at the stars not nearly as magical as its portrayed. you can pick out the basic constellations that are in view but only the very brightest of the stars are truly visible in the city. and forget about anything on the horizon being visible, thanks the orange glow of the city surrounding you. but, it does make looking at the stars in the middle of nowhere amazing. I...

The sound of your own voice
The sound of your own voice is strange, you hear it everyday, every time you utter a word. but what does it sound like? I cant quite put my finger on it myself. Its definitely not deep and raspy like Bob’s, and its not loud and obnoxious like Barbabra’s. Even though I listen to it everyday I haven’t the slightest clue what I really sound like. I must just be so used to hearing it...

Clutter
My house is cluttered, my thoughts are too. whatever am i to do? clutter is such a ridiculous mess, its always leaving me worried and stressed. I try to escape from my clutter, but it follows me wherever i go. piles, stack, boxes, you name it. things i need, things i don’t need, things i wanted, things I’ve forgotten about, things that have meaning, things i found on the street...

Filling up the trash
Trash cans, how i despise a full trash can. When its almost to the tippy top, you smash it down as far as it will go (which is never as far as you think it will go). Continuing to cram scraps and bits into every crack between the previously discarded garbage, its like a sick twist to a tetris game. Until finally something particularly disgusting gets put on top, then there’s no choice but to...
